Ali came after us, and came up to the Dorm Room.
"where are you going?" she said urgently. "There are only fifteen minutes left in lunch break!"
Trisha quickly told a stunned and pale Ali what had happened while I packed.
"Wow," said Ali. Trisha looked away.
Suddenly I thought of a rather large problem. "Uh-oh." I said.
"Oh, no," said Trisha. "What is it now?"
"How am I supposed to tell the elves I'm coming?"
Suddenly a sweet smelling pale blue-green aura became present in the room, deepening into an elfen form.
I put my backpack on.
"Greetings, queen," I said kneeling respectfully.
Trisha and Ali looked at me like I was nuts, but I gave them a glare and they also knelt speechlessly.
"Stand, young ones!" said a beautiful voice, the same that had spoken to me the night on the docks.
"So you have agreed to come, young Erulastiel Vanadesse.." I let the name soak into my being. So I did have another name.
Erulastiel.. It sounded perfect, too perfect. I resumed my attention to the, you know, slightly blue elf that had magically appeared in the middle of my dorm room.
"Yes, my lady," I said. "I..I have a favor to ask."
The elf smiled kindly. "What is that, child?"
"I would like to be able to communicate with my friends when I'm gone."
THe elf nodded and extended her hand. A milk white dove appeared. "She will faithfully fly back and forth between our worlds."
I smiled happily, outstretching my own hand. She flew into it. "Hello, little one," I murmured.
