Same Old Sky | Chapter Fourteen

"Yes, I did," I said calmly, eating and trying very hard not to think about my earlier.. thoughts.

"Yes I did," Mimiced Alison annoyed.

I said nothing, but fixed her with a hard glare.

Alison looked like she was about to blow up. I got a look from Trisha that said, Now you've done it. She's really going to tell you off this time..

"Well, of all the stubborn, stuck up, impertinent people!!" Hissed Alison. I sighed and went back to eating, but she didn't give up so easily.

"How could you do this to me!? You've ruined my reputation! I've always had the highest grades in that class until- until- the likes of you came and hogged the spotlight! Teacher's pet! You- pig! fat pig!"

I narrowed my eyes and stood up.

I met Trisha's eyes. "I'm going," I said quietly and firmly. She nodded and got up. We left.
